Of course the host is otherwise engaged with his personal health at the moment, but that's no reason the idea couldn't be carried on while he recovers. I can't imagine that there's a whole lot of advertising revenue at stake on post-watershed screentime in NZ.Slightly Intrepidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03863685188013458226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5082405419121721387.post-15974983365717680342009-11-15T14:16:48.445+13:002009-11-15T14:16:48.445+13:00Indeed, the lack of classic films is truly depress...Indeed, the lack of classic films is truly depressing. (Okay, the Kubrick is a modern classic.)<br /> I remember when I was young (only twenty years ago), they would actually show classic films - sometimes in the weekends, sometimes on weekday mornings or late at night when they could at least be recorded. I remember watching the Marx Brothers, King Kong, Tarzan, Ray Harryhausen films. But these days, they're relegated to the TCM channel, where the likelihood of being discovered by future generations seems less likely.Matthewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08196372589248892579noreply@blogger.com
